The Blytheville Lady Chickasaws (1-6, 3-11) were too strong for Wynne on Jan. 5 at the BHS Gym, rolling to a 64-36 triumph over the Lady Yellowjackets.
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (3-1, 7-3) controlled Valley View 58-41 on Jan. 4 at the BHS Gym, and the BMS eighth grade boys (1-7) lost to the Junior Blazers 36-31.
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (1-3, 2-6) on Jan. 4 were defeated by Valley View 34-4 in AAAAA-East play at the BHS Gym.
The Blytheville Chickasaws (3-2, 7-6) on Jan. 2 worked past Greene County Tech 74-64 at Paragould, and the ‘B’ Chickasaws (5-2) also got the better of the JV Eagles 43-34 in the first game.
The Blytheville Chickasaws (2-2, 6-6) were eliminated by Brookland 50-44 on Dec. 26 in the semifinals of the NEA Tournament at Jonesboro.
The Blytheville Chickasaws (2-2, 6-5) on Dec. 23 cruised past Gosnell 86-55 in the quarterfinals of the NEA Tournament in Jonesboro.
The Blytheville Chickasaws (2-2, 5-5) could not overcome West Memphis on Dec. 19 at the BHS Gym, falling to the Blue Devils 76-71. The ‘B’ Chickasaws (4-2) beat the JV Devils 38-31 in the first game.
The Blytheville Lady Chickasaws (0-5, 1-5) were defeated Dec. 19 by West Memphis 61-34 in AAAAA-AAAAAA-East action at the BHS Gym.
The Blytheville ‘B’ Chickasaws (3-2) were defeated on Dec. 16 by Osceola 47-34 in a nonconference jamboree at Osceola.
The Blytheville Middle School eighth grade Junior Chickasaws (1-6) lost at Osceola 27-22 on Dec. 16 in a jamboree at Osceola, and the BMS seventh-graders (1-6) beat West Memphis West 37-35 earlier.
The Blytheville Chickasaws (2-1, 5-4) were overpowering at Paragould 52-29 on Dec. 15, and the ‘B’ Chickasaws (3-1) defeated the junior varsity Rams 43-34 in the first game.
The Blytheville School District will be closed Dec.18-Jan. 2 for Christmas vacation. Professional development day is Jan. 2, and the second semester regular schedule begins Tuesday morning, Jan. 3.
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (2-1, 6-3) were edged at West Memphis East 48-46 on Dec. 14, and the Blytheville Middle School 8th grade Junior Chickasaws (1-5) lost 48-37.
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (1-2, 2-5) on Dec. 14 were victorious at West Memphis East 27-17.
The Blytheville Chickasaws (1-1, 4-4) suffered a hard-fought 73-72 loss to Osceola on Dec. 12 at the BHS Gym, and the ‘B’ Chickasaws (2-1) ran away from the JV Seminoles 63-56 in the first game.
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (2-0, 6-2) took care of Osceola 49-27 on Dec. 12 at the BHS Gym.
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-2, 1-5) lost at Osceola 13-9 on Dec. 12, and the Blytheville Middle School eighth grade girls (2-3) were defeated 14-8.
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (5-2) whipped up on West Memphis West 49-20 on Dec. 11 at the BHS Gym, and the Blytheville Middle School eighth graders (1-4) won 35-19.
