Join us for First Things First, Monday August 19th at Blytheville High School. Students & Guardians will experience an abbreviated school day to kick off the year. We will begin our day at 7:45 with Juniors & Seniors, and end our day with Freshmen & Sophomores starting at 11:50. Lunch will be served for both at 11:15. Door prizes drawings for Guardians in attendance.
Attention Parents: Please make sure your student is registered for school at their campus by tomorrow. This will speed up the process for the Back to School Bash. Primary, Elementary and Middle School students must be accompanied by an adult.

The Blytheville School District is partnering with the Great River Medical Center and will be hosting a free Physical Examination for our student athletes & marching band July 30th in the Arena. Your child should be bringing home Medical History and Participation forms that must be signed and brought to physicals to receive the free examination. All who wish to participate in Athletics and Activities must have an up to date physical to be able to practice and play for the 24-25 school year.
Female Athletes should report to the arena by 8:45AM
Male Athletes should report to the arena by 9:15AM
Marching Band should report to the arena by 9:45AM

The food distribution will take place today at the Blytheville School food pantry located on the elementary campus. It will start at 12:00 PM for previous applicants and at 1:00 PM for new applicants. The distribution will continue until all supplies are gone.

The distribution for registered families is from 12 pm to 1 pm and for all new applicants without a card, from 1 pm to 2 pm. ATTENTION: Parents and guardians
Just a quick reminder, The Blytheville School District Food Pantry will be open tomorrow in the back building (not inside the school) on the Blytheville Elementary campus from 12:30-2:15 PM, or until all food boxes are gone. This program, sponsored by The Department of Human Services and the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas of Jonesboro, is available to those with a student 18 years old and under. You must have an application on file or you can fill out one on-site. If you've been approved previously, don't forget to bring your card. Eschool will be used to verify all eligible students.

Community Engagement Matters!
We love to see you celebrating the academic achievements of our scholars this time of year. We hope that you join us for all of the upcoming the celebrations. Balloons are not allowed at events held in the Chickasaw Arena.
Summer Rising Summer School will be held June 10- July 18, 2024. If a student is identified to attend, the school will contact parents/guardians. For some students, attendance will be mandatory in order to avoid retention. More information to come.
