A big congratulations to Mrs. Kristy Brasfield for being chosen as last week’s Golden Goose winner!! Her colleagues chose her because of all the wonderful things she does for her students. She always goes the extra mile to ensure her students have the best school experiences, both in and out of class!! Congratulations!!

****ATTENTION ALL BMS AND BHS ATHLETES AND THEIR PARENTS:
The Blytheville Athletic department will be hosting a physical clinic May 17, 2018 for the 2018-19 school year. It will be for ALL STUDENTS who are involved or are planning to participate in any athletic program 7th grade thru 12th grade only. First, students pick up a permission form from their coaches or in the office at both BHS/BMS campuses. Then, forms will need to be filled out and returned by May 16th. No students can receive a physical without a form filled out and returned. Students MUST have a physical to participate in all school sporting events. Those that do not receive one here on campus will be responsible for getting one on their own. Thank-you

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL ATHLETES: The Blytheville School District's athletics banquet will be Monday, May 7, beginning with dinner for all the coaches and athletes in the Blytheville High School cafeteria at 6 p.m. Awards will be presented to the athletes in the BHS Auditorium at approximately 6:45 p.m., and parents are invited to attend the presentations.

Our new principal, Mr. Matt Swenson, met with several groups today as he toured and mingled with students and faculty. I wish everyone could hear the comments these students were making...they truly love our school and are so proud to be a Chickasaw!!!
