Ms. Wright's science class has recently experimented with The Naked Egg Lab showing them the process of diffusion and osmosis. The shell-less egg represents a cell and its selectively permeable membrane. During this process it releases carbon dioxide which dissolves the shell, leaving only the membrane around the egg.

"Rotary Youth Exchanges are for students ages 15-19. Students will learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens. Long-term exchanges last a full academic year, and students attend local schools and live with multiple host families. Short-term exchanges last from several days to three months and are often structured as camps, tours, or homestays that take place when school is not in session."
