Are you going to prom? Want to have something to help remember the night for year's to come? Take formal pictures at prom!!!

The Blytheville School Board voted last night to continue to follow CDC suggestions and wear face masks for the remainder of the 20/21 school year. This means that we'll continue as we have from the beginning of the year and wear masks and practice social distance. This was not an easy decision, but in the end the students and staff were the main focus.

Celebrating our awesome BHS assistant principals: Don Davis, Cliff Miller, Ben Fisher and Michelle Walling (not pictured)
Thank y’all for all you do to help our students and faculty every day!! Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed!!

Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we strive to maintain a safe environment for our students and staff. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and give updates as needed. Thank You.

Blytheville High School’s Teacher of the Year is Ms. Catherine Adell. Ms. Adell is highly involved in the community. She volunteers with many different agencies such as the Special Olympics, Mississippi County Mission, voter registration drives, and her sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA).
She has also received many awards over the years such as the BHS Golden Apple Teacher Award, Area 13 Special Olympics Coach of the Year, the class of 1981 Appreciation Award, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Silver Soror Honor.
Her classroom is indeed a home and she teaches life skills and daily living skills constantly. It is a happy and healthy place for students to live for hours of the day. They are lucky to have her. Her punctuality and attendance are exceptional as well.

We will be keeping a eye out tomorrow for changing weather conditions. Should circumstances dictate, we may have an early dismissal to provide for the safe transportation of our students.

P/T Conferences at BHS are Thurs, 8:30am-6:30
Go to BHS website, select "for parents", Select "teachers' names" to schedule an appointment. Or call 870-762-2772
All students will be virtual Thursday.

Ms. Hill's Family and Consumer Science class and Human Relations and Life Development classes made fruit smoothies to enhance their discussion and encourage wellness.
