Teachers can have fun while they learn, too! Mrs. Cynthia McCustion, Literacy IF taught a fun lesson to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teachers about the "Hamburger Writing Process". YUM!
Student Ambassador campaigning began today and will run through Friday! We are eager to see who will be elected as Student Ambassadors!
Students from Mrs. Alithia Davis' intervention class, enjoyed learning ways and strategies to measure to the 1/4 inch. Mrs. Davis always finds fun and exciting ways to reinforce skills!
Students and Grandparents had a "Grand" time, enjoying playing board games and card games in their classrooms, in celebration of Grandparent's Day on September 9th!
5th grade MVPs greeted Rep. Dave Wallace this past Friday as part of the Bring Your Legislator to School Initiative.
The following students attended the awards ceremony hosted by the local Daughters of the American Revolution for their entry in the Junior American Citizen Contest at the public library. Last year's theme was Celebrate America...(students win for previous year's entry) These students place 1st place in the state for their entry.

The students were treated to a visit from the Harlem Wizards on April 11.
4th and 5th grade students visited the Nature Center in Cape Girardeau today for the PBIS celebration. Students who attended the trip had no referrals for the third quarter.
