The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws won their season opener in overwhelming fashion over Osceola 42-14 on Sept. 1 at Haley Field.
The Blytheville Lady Chickasaws (0-3, 0-5) were upended on Sept. 1 at Jonesboro 9-25, 7-25, 10-25. The "B" Lady Chickasaws were also defeated by Jonesboro's junior varsity 5-25, 7-25.
