Blytheville Public Schools Homecoming Week is Monday September 30th through Friday October 4th. Letters for the Homecoming themed attire have been sent home with students. Please see the note sent home and our Facebook post for attire suggestions for each day.

Just a friendly reminder that the Elementary School 4th and 5th Grade Girls Basketball Tryouts and Practice will be today from 6-7:30 pm. The location for tryouts will be at the Blytheville High School Girl's gym.
Games for Grandparents Day is today from 1pm to 2pm at the Blytheville Elementary School. This is a friendly reminder for grandparents or those who stand in as a grandparents to please come out and have some fun with your little one who goes to the BESt school there is! We can't wait to see you soon!

We are inviting all grandparents, close family members or friends who stand in as a grandparents for your student(s) to come celebrate and play games with them on Monday September 9, 2024 from 1-2 pm at the Blytheville Elementary School campus. We can not wait to see you then!
The Blytheville Elementary School will dismiss for early release starting at 12:30pm on September 4, 2024 and September 18, 2024. Please check your students backpacks today and place in a safe play the full color printed 2024-25 School Calendar which includes all early release dates and school closing days for the school year. Thank you for all you do to make this the best year for our students.
Blytheville Public Schools will be closed on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. The first Student Early Release will be held on September 4th. Your child’s school will make you aware of their dismissal times to allow for staff development. The next Student Early Release will be on September 18th.
The first day back from Summer Break was a great success for B.E.S. students and staff! So many exciting things are in store for this tribe this school year!!

Congratulating Mrs. Nikki Glass on passing the Foundations of Reading Assessment. Her success has led to her becoming licensed in Special Education Resource-English Language Arts and Special Education Resource Elementary. Mrs. Glass's dedication, love, and care for her students exemplify the heart and devotion required to be an exceptional special education teacher.
It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved tribe member Ms. Shaneakya Pugh-Riggins. Please continue to pray for the family and friends of Ms. Riggins. Her beautiful smile and love for all will be missed daily at BES and in the Blytheville School District.
