December 8, 2022 and January 3, 2023 employees of Blytheville School District were given the opportunity to participate in a wellness clinic provided by the SHARE (Supporting Health Advances for Rural Employees) grant. This grant was awarded to the district for the 2022-2023 school year to help provide physical and mental and health services to all school district employees at no cost. The wellness clinics were the first phase of the grant and provided cholesterol, glucose, body mass index, blood pressure, mental health screenings and tobacco cessation testing. There were 78 employees who participated in the clinics. We would like to thank Healthy Partners East Arkansas Family Health Center and Delta Population Health for their partnership in making these events a success.
